Home Up Chief Petty Officers USS Mullinnix (DD-944)
USS Semmes (DDG-18) USS Brumby (FF-1044) USS Duncan (FFG-10) NRC Lexington, KY USS Hayler (DD-997)

I was stationed at the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center, Encino, CA from November 1979 to October 1982.  I arrived at Encino as a Second Class Petty Officer and departed as a First Class Petty Officer.
Looking for some outside shots of the reserve center.  The center was located at 6337 Balboa Blvd. in Encino, California near the southwest corner of Balboa and Victory. NMCRC Encino.jpg (40083 bytes)
You may have seen this building in a TV movie called "For the Love of It".  It was disguised as the Jim Joy Toy Factory.  Internal shots of it were in the two-part TV movie "World War III" The Navy & Marine Corps Reserve Center staff (Navy) and spouses/dates at the Commanding Officer's Apartment in 1981.  I'm the only one in uniform.  I had duty that night.  My wife Sally took the photograph.
